Klare Bibelauslegung

Biblische Lehre des ersten Jahrhunderts n Chr

How is the Bible interpreted right?

1. The Bible interprets itself. God´s Word contains no contradictions, thus the exegesis has to be performed in harmony, also with the Scripture, so that there arise no dissents. This means: My interpretation is only right if it is in accordance with all other Bible verses and the whole Bible.

An example: In Hebr. 6,1 - 6 the writer adresses Jews that repented to Christ and got born again, and now their former Brethren persecuted them. To avoid this distress they sought to get accepted by God again through Judaism. The writer testifies them clearly, saying: For one, the new birth of the living God cannot be undone, and second God will never accept you again in Judaism after ye received the new birth and the Holy Spirit, for you mock Christ if you return to the law.

2. The Bible is written in pictures and in symbolic language (fire, water, birds...), because nobody shall get the content quickly and easily, but invests work and time and starts to think.

3.The Bible is written logically, not chronologically. It is encoded that not cheeky curious people get knowledge inappropriately. "The secret of Jahwe is for those who fear him." Ps. 25,14.

4. Whoever has the biblical teaching receives from God light about many things that are not directly written in the Bible and yet in accordance with it.

5. One of the basic keys for Bible exegesis is to distinct between the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and the Gospel of the grace of God.

6. Only born again Christians can understand the Bible for they have the Holy Spirit. Yet only to those who obey Him will the Lord give wisdom and light, who humble themselves and become a foot mat for all other people. The God of all wisdom "divides every man severally as he wants" 1. Cor.12,11. Very few of the Christians perceive the sense of these Words, therefore only single born again receive the ability to interpret the Bible extensively.
